Author Guidelines Before submitting, authors must ensure that the manuscript fits the scope of Jurnal Lentera Kesehatan Masyarakat (JLKM), is original, and is not under consideration by another journal. General requirements • Manuscripts may be written in Indonesian or English and should contain 4,000–6,000 words, excluding references. • Use the current JLKM manuscript template and APA 7th edition reference style. Reference-management software such as Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote is recommended. • Upload an anonymized main manuscript for double-blind review. Remove author names, affiliations, acknowledgements, and identifying file properties. Enter complete author information separately in OJS. • The title, author order, affiliations, abstract, keywords, funding, conflicts of interest, and other metadata entered in OJS must match the final manuscript. Manuscript structure • Title: concise and informative; avoid unexplained abbreviations. • Abstract: maximum 250 words, without citations, summarizing the objective, design or methods, principal results, and conclusion. • Keywords: three to five specific terms. • Introduction: explain the background, research gap, novelty, and objective. • Methods: describe the design, setting, participants or data source, variables, instruments, analysis, and ethical approval or consent when applicable. • Results and Discussion: present findings clearly without unnecessary duplication between text, tables, and figures; interpret the findings in relation to prior evidence, limitations, and implications. • Conclusion: answer the objective and state the main implication without introducing new results. • Declarations: include author contributions, acknowledgements, funding, conflicts of interest, ethics approval and informed consent when applicable, and data-availability information. • References: use APA 7th edition, include at least 20 references, prioritize recent primary journal literature, and ensure every in-text citation appears in the reference list and vice versa. All submissions are screened for compliance with publication ethics and undergo double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers. Questions may be sent to staff@jurnalkesmas.co.id.
